I am a professional artist and dedicated teacher with years of experience in painting and drawing. Over my career, I’ve helped hundreds of students discover their unique artistic voice and overcome creative challenges. I graduated from Boston University’s Visual Arts Program and attended the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. After graduating, I returned to Boston to pursue direct studies with notable painters such as Nelson Shanks and Gary Hoffmann, who remain my mentors and friends.
For the past 24 years, I have taught in-person painting and drawing classes, primarily from my studio, Polins Atelier. I have also taught at several universities and numerous art centers.
